Years after my first attempt at real estate photography (an apartment in Hell's Kitchen), a couple of friends bought a house in Dorset, Vermont as a second home and Airbnb investment, and invited me up for a weekend before it filled with other guests. I got to shoot the interior — and the exterior from above, drone included — before anyone else arrived. They're also building a giant mosaic wall of tiles featuring photos from their life together and from New England, mine included. I can't wait to see it finished, or to find another excuse to get back up there for the fall and winter light.
