A couple of weekends ago I had the distinct pleasure of working with George & Liz to photograph their wedding. As you can see from the photos, the day was wet and gloomy, which made for some great photos. Of course, there was no rain or gloom in the wedding party, and everyone there was excited and amped up for George & Liz's wedding. No rain was going to dampen anyone's spirits.
Their nephew, Leo, was my shadow for the day. He was enthralled by the camera, and wanted to see what I was seeing and doing. After I had taken all of my photos, I handed the camera to Leo to let him take a few of his own. I admire his style -- he shares my penchant for crooked photos -- and hope that perhaps, one day, he'll take up the photography hobby as well... as long as he doesn't steal my business. :-D
Rain, a train blocking the park entrance, and a flock of angry geese couldn't keep this group of family and friends from celebrating George and Liz. I can only hope that at the end of the session I adequately captured the love they all shared.
